Webb is the fire district’s community risk manager whose duties include overseeing fire and life safety education for the district’s nearly 30,000 residents, each of the schools in the Blue Ridge and the Show Low school districts, CPR and first-aid training, Firewise presentations, etc.

Last year alone, Webb instructed more than 10,000 students in his role at Timber Mesa, but he also found time to serve as the president of the Pinetop-Lakeside Historical Society and is heavily involved with the local Boy Scout groups.

“There is no one I know who has a greater passion for fire and life safety education” said Fire Chief Bryan Savage. “Kirk has worked with minimal resources to bring life safety instruction to all of our children, our neighborhood associations, and our community in general. Our mission is to be proactive to reduce the risks in our community and Kirk exemplifies that Mission.”
