After a suspected suicide bomber killed 22 people just outside an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena in England on Monday (May 22), singers around the world shared their sympathies on social media.

And Maren Morris took things one step further by telling her fans and followers not to let that attack scare them away from listening to live music.

“We do this to connect. For just a few hours, no matter what religion, race, gender or economic background you come from, music tethers us,” she wrote on Facebook…

and went on to say…

“My heart is broken for Manchester, but I want my fans there to know that I can’t wait to see you and give you all big hugs this Fall.

“No one should fear walking into a venue or onto a stage. It’s our job to fight that and have the best time ever. We do this for each other,” she said, “and that will never be stopped.”
